Well, two of them, anyway...Corwin and Random

Zelazny's Amber Chronicles hit me like a champion pugilist the first time I read them. Sure, there's tons of action, guns and swords and all sorts of strange locales, but the kicker is the sheer scope of the story. It literally can go anywhere and does. By the time Corwin escapes the dungeon to the lighthouse of Cabra, I was hooked and couldn't stop till I devoured every novel (the first five anyway...then I need to come up for air. Whew! What an ending!)

This is just pencils. I don't think it comes even close to the feeling I got reading that first book, but I gave it a shot. I'll definitely change a few things if I ever get around to inking it.
